My name is Jade and I’m 38 years old. I have two kids, they are my life. I’m married to Ronald for 6 years but we are together since 2003. I live in Holland near the Hague.
Me painting didn’t come naturally. I can’t draw, I lack the ability to see 3D (depth vision) but I liked it so much that I just kept on with it and now I’m growing every day. Thanks to ITP.

Me and my hubby had a bumpy past 5 years. In 2011 I gave birth to our first child, our daughter Ilana (the one who never wants to be painted haha) two week prior we discovered Ronald had cancer. The next year it was all about breastfeeding, diapers and hospital visits…The year after that it was about losing jobs (my husband lost his job three times due to the crisis) And sick family (mom diagnosed with cancer, my father several back operations) and somewhere in between there was me and a little girl named Ilana. In 2014 we finally calmed down, hubby and family was doing okay. We tried for baby number two, but doctors told us that due to chemo…the changes would be slim. But on the second of January 2015 there was This our son J The bumpy ride started soon after that with my father having hart problems, hart surgery etc. But we still are happy and all together.
Last year of may I started with ITP. I wanted to do something for me after everything and well that I could practice something I liked was awesome at the same time. Never in a million years I could have predicted what it would mean to me one year later.
The kindness of you all, the warmth, the encouragement, the tips, the stories of all of you, the sympathy for each other. Oh and well there is the painting of course as well J But its not about the painting, that’s just extra on top of all the other things.
You’ll grow your business, you’ll grow personally, You will find stories that will help you. And you’ll get better every day. Thank you ITP. Painting doesn’t come naturally to me, but sticking with it brought me so much more than the ability to paint.
